Authentic croissants in Nice, for Insider’s Regional Eats
A real croissant takes days of preparation, and a lot of butter. For Insider’s Regional Eats series, hosted by Claudia Romeo, we filmed baker Frédéric Roy in his bakery in Nice, on the French Riviera, as he showed how artisanal croissants are made.
Insider brought us the story. We handled pre-production, field production, filming and editing, with interviews in French translated and subtitled in English. Published in September 2021, the film has more than 4.1 million views on YouTube.
We also found and produced our own story for Business Insider: Le Crumbler, the machine that turns old bread into flour.
