Authentic pesto in Genoa, for Insider’s Regional Eats
The original Genovese pesto has seven ingredients, no more, no less. For Insider’s Regional Eats series, hosted by Claudia Romeo, we filmed in Genoa, where pesto was invented, with Roberto Panizza, owner of Pesto Rossi and the restaurant Il Genovese, to show what makes each ingredient Genovese.
Insider brought us the story. We handled pre-production, field production, filming and editing, with interviews in Italian translated and subtitled in English. Published in September 2021, the film has more than 4.3 million views on YouTube.
We also found and produced our own story for Business Insider: Le Crumbler, the machine that turns old bread into flour.
